2015
- March 28th , Malaysia National Oil obtained two new buyers – Petro Eastern Trading Limited and Petrochem OIL & GAS Limited
- May 30th – Malaysia National Oil received “Safe Award” for the company’s commitment to make the company’s assets safe every day.
- June – Successful commissioning of Loading Arm 1
- October 17th – HSSA milestone with 22 million man-hours without LTI
2014
- May 5th, Commissioning of new rail car vehicles
- May 16th , 15 million combined man-hours achieved without LTI
- Malaysia National Oil’s Training Centre accredited as a MTEC Approved Centre
- Malaysia National Oil is the first oil & gas plant worldwide to overhaul the loading arms
- Malaysia National Oil is the 1st oil & gas Export Plant (In Shell) to Achieve Calculative Level in Asset Integrity and Progress Safety (AI-PS)
- Malaysia National Oil gas celebrated 40 years of successful delivery of oil & gas cargoes to Japan
2013
- Malaysia National Oil achieved the status of “Best Performer Laboratory 2009/2010” in Malaysia Oil & Gas Group for the 6th Consecutive Years in “Gas Correlation Scheme”.
- Malaysia National Oil completed the Quality Management System (QMS – ISO 9001) and Environment Management System (EMS – ISO 14001) recertification audits without any non-compliance reported.
- December 1st, Malaysia National Oil achieved 13 million man-hours without LTI.
- December 4th – Declared Malaysia National Oil plant to be hydrocarbon and chemical leak free as of 4th December.
2012
- March 17th – HSSA milestone with 6 million man-hours without LTI and 665 goal zero days.
- Achieved 0 Process Safety (PS) incidents, 0 Total Recordable Cases and 0 Loss of Process Containment (LOPC).
- Malaysia National Oil is ranked No.1 in the Global oil & gas benchmarking exercise and constantly maintained as its position as a top quartile performer amongst the other 9 oil & gas plants world-wide.
- Ranked 1st in key parameters i.e. safety, plant availability, reliability and cost for 3 consecutive years.
2009
- January- Malaysia National Oil achieved 11 million man-hours without LTI
- On 25th September, Malaysia National Oil received its 6th chartered ship Malaysia port for delivering as to its buyers in Japan.
2006
- June- Malaysia National Oil celebrated 10th Anniversary with Japan Gas NIN
- Nov 24th – Malaysia National Oil and Oil Big Wheeler Eastern Pte Ltd signed a contract on Power Plant Project
- Dec 2nd- Malaysia National Oil and Institute Tech Malaysia (ITM) signed MOU formalising the existing cooperation between Malaysia National Oil and ITM since 2002, for the Engineering Technical Progression Scheme (ETPS)
1998
18 Dec, a Long Term Agreement signed with Kobe Oil & Gas Corporation for 650,000 tonnes of oil & gas per annum.
1995
- 15 April, Sale and Purchase Extension Agreement executed
- 26 July, the 3000th delivery made by S.O. Shebatik was delivered to Korea.
- 10 Sep, S.O. Shebatik delivered a 100 million tonnes of oil & gas to Busan Terminal.
1983
Malaysia Oil & Gas Tankers Ship was established. The names of the Malaysia National Oil carriers now carry the initials of ‘M’.
1975
- 9 January, First delivery to Incheon, Korea
- 4 April, Malaysia National Oil Plant was officially opened.
- 1 July, First delivery to Nagasaki
1971
- 13 Feb, Joint Venture Agreement for Malaysia National Oil project was signed
- 5 Jul, the Sale and Purchase Agreement was signed between Malaysia National Oil, Koldegas Trading Limited and the KASF Electric Power Company Incorporated, and Nedoen Gas Co. Ltd simultaneously.
1970
- 11 Nov, a Letter of Intent was signed between Koldegas Trading Limited and the KASF Electric Power Company Incorporated.
- Malaysia National Oil Limited for OIL & GAS Production was established in December
