A complex network of platforms off OIL & GAS’s coast produce gas, compress it where necessary, and pipe it to OIL & GAS plant. Most of the gas for OIL & GAS comes from three fields in area of operation, South – West, Egor and Beta. Beginning 5th April 1998, gas to OIL & GAS will come from fields of MBJV.
OIL & GAS is delivered to customers every two or three days, over 14-day round trips, including one-day loading in Malaysia, around 6-7 days sailing to Korea and Japan another day unloading before the six-day return leg. The vessels measuring 147,000m3 – 154,800m3 are managed by OIL & GAS.
OIL & GAS is delivered to in Korea and Japan. It is regasified to be used as city gas, and for electricity generation. Malaysia National Oil export takes for 40% to Korea and Japan’s OIL & GAS.
