Doing Business with Integrity
Malaysia National Oil and all other companies have zero tolerance for business integrity violations of the law or our MSJV Code of Conduct. Business Integrity is a fundamental principle and priority for our companies, and we expect of all staff, managers, directors, business partners and contractors to comply with the law and our MSJV Code of Conduct.
Our Values
At Malaysia National Oil, we share a set of core values — honesty, integrity, respect and excellence — which underpin all the work we do. The MSJV Code of Conduct sets the standards with which everyone at the company is expected to comply in order to uphold these core values and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Our Commitment
Since 2017, the company have been founding members, along with the other major operating companies in the oil and gas industry in Malaysia, of the Malaysia Energy Industry Integrity Pack (MEIIP). Pact members pledge their commitment to conduct their operations and business activities in a manner that upholds the highest standards of integrity principles and ethical standards. As at 2021, the MEIIP consists of more than 80 members operating in Malaysia.
Our Code of Conduct
Our MSJV Code of Conduct helps everyone at Malaysia National Oil act in line with these values and comply with relevant laws and regulations. It is of paramount importance for us that our business and commercial relations are conducted in accordance with the law and the highest ethical standards. Any company that chooses not to comply with our MSJV Code of Conduct chooses not to do business with Malaysia National Oil company.
If you have any suspicion of a possible business integrity violation concerning the Malaysia National Oil company, its staff or contractors, then we want to know. Suspicions can be reported through the Malaysia National Oil Helpline, which has been set up to facilitate anyone to confidentially and anonymously report any suspected business integrity violations. We investigate all suspicions reported in good faith and take action against individuals and companies who are found to have violated the MSJV Code of Conduct.
